The Dundee Scottish Cup Winning Team
The photo above shows the Dundee team who won the Scottish Cup in 1910. The Cup was eventually won after a second replay against Clyde at Ibrox Park in Glasgow,with Dundee running out 2-1 victors in front of a 24,000 crowd, Bellamy and Hunter scoring the Dundee goals.

The two games before had resulted in a 2-2 draw at Ibrox on April 9th in front of a crowd of 60,000 with Hunter and Langlands scoring the goals.The second game was a 0-0 draw at the same venue with a crowd of 20,000 attending.

From the table above you can see the fixtures played by Dundee in 1909-10 season and you can check such things as the crowds at the games, the number of goals and goal scorers, dates of games and the crowd at each match.

Dundee finished sixth in division one, They were also semi finalists in the Forfarshire Cup being beaten 3-0 by Arbroath on March 5th 1910. They also had three games against Hibs in the Scottish Cup semi final the first game away being drawn 0-0 with a crowd of 17,000. The second game at Dens was also 0-0 with a crowd of 23,000, The third game at Parkhead finished 1-0 for Dundee with Hunter scoring the winner.

Picture above is the Dundee number 9 John Hunter who scored the winning goal in the second replay of the Scottish Cup semi final against Hibs at Parkhead in Glasgow. John Hunter also scored the winning goal in the Cup Final second replay against Clyde at Ibrox Stadium in Glasgow.


The final League Standings 1909-10
Dundee finished in sixth spot in the league in season 1909-10 as you can see by the table above. Only Rangers and Falkirk scored more goals than Dundee that season with Falkirk being the highest goal scorers. * means Port Glasgow were relegated to division 2 after losing out to Raith Rovers in election vote.
